Exploring fusion energy

The future of humanity relies on the prospect of reaching infinite energy. Ultimately, humans seek to build a reliable system of practical and scalable nuclear fusion energy. Fusion, the combination of two nuclei to form one nucleus, produces energy on our Sun and other stars at incredibly high temperatures. To reach nuclear fusion, plasmas, which are hot gasses that force electrons to be freed from their atomic nuclei, would need to be generated. This process, which is yet to be achieved by humans, does not produce greenhouse gases or radioactive waste. Having long been hailed as the ultimate solution to our global energy challenges, incorporating fusion technology as an energy source would be nothing short of revolutionary and certainly change our lives forever.

The attainment of fusion energy would replace the damaging process of nuclear fission and relieve the environment of unsustainable methods of energy acquisition; it would serve as a catalyst to push the confines of modern life. As opposed to status quo energy alternatives, this would further address the need to combat climate change while improving the practicality of life for everyone. It will save our future, but also our present. Every day, people living in underdeveloped parts of our planet could safely rely on a virtually inexhaustible supply of fusion fuel at drastically lowered energy costs. This would spearhead economic growth, create jobs, and improve living standards everywhere. In terms of the future, this technology would save us from the downward spiral of climate change and assist the human race in further innovation, especially space exploration. Fusion fuel will catalyze a future of space exploration and expand the realm of possibility for the future of the human race.
